TRADERSYNC VS TRADEZELLA.

Two AI-led trading journals compared on price, replay, backtesting, accounts and markets, with an honest look at where each one wins.

TraderSync and TradeZella are the two journals that lean hardest on AI.

TraderSync is built around an assistant called Cypher, which answers questions about your trade history and runs backtests. TradeZella calls itself an "AI trading partner" and reviews your sessions automatically. Both import from hundreds of brokers, both replay trades, and both start somewhere between $29.95 and $35 a month.

TraderSync suits the multi-asset, mobile trader who wants a lower monthly price, broad broker coverage (crypto included), a native iPhone app and a free trial to start with. Its most advanced replay and backtesting tools sit on the top Elite plan.

TradeZella suits the trader who wants backtesting, community and prop-firm tools in one product, with a published annual discount. It costs more month to month, and unlimited replay starts on its $59 Pro plan.

One caution before we get into the details. We couldn't read TraderSync's own website when we checked on 31 October 2026, so its facts below come from its App Store listing and from third-party reviews, and we've labelled them that way. TradeZella's facts come from its own site.

As of November 2026. TradeZella and TradePiko from their own pricing pages; TraderSync from its US App Store listing and from reviews by StockBrokers.com (14 August 2026) and DayTradingToolkit (27 September 2026), because its own site could not be read. Prices in US dollars. Check each site before you buy.

Where TraderSync is better

Lower monthly price, and a trial to start

Month to month, TraderSync Pro is $29.95 against $35 for TradeZella Essential. And the gap holds further up, with Premium at $49.95 against $59 for TradeZella Pro.

Both StockBrokers.com and DayTradingToolkit report a 7-day free trial on every paid plan, with no credit card required. TradeZella mentions no trial on its pricing pages, and third-party reviews say it doesn't have one.

Annual pricing is harder to compare. Reviewers quote different yearly figures, its US App Store listing sells annual plans at different prices again, and some figures look like they follow promotions. What you pay for a year depends on where and when you buy, so check the price at checkout.

Replay on every paid plan

Every TraderSync plan includes trade replay. What changes is the resolution, from 1-minute candles on Pro to 1-second on Premium and 250 milliseconds on Elite.

On TradeZella, unlimited replay starts on Pro at $59, and its own pages disagree on whether Essential gets any at all.

More markets, more brokers

TraderSync's App Store listing covers stocks, options, futures, forex and crypto. TradeZella supports stocks, options and forex, but futures only on select exchanges and crypto only by manual entry, according to its help centre.

Reviewers put TraderSync's broker count at 900+, against TradeZella's 500+. DayTradingToolkit also reports options spread detection on every paid TraderSync plan.

A native mobile app

TraderSync has a native iPhone and iPad app, rebuilt as version 5.0, and an Android app has been reported. TradeZella's own pages disagree with each other on mobile. Its 2023 release notes announced a mobile version, while its June 2026 comparison page calls it web-only.

Unlimited accounts for less

Premium ($49.95) and Elite come with unlimited accounts. TradeZella allows one active account on Essential and up to 50 on Pro ($59), which is plenty for most people, but it costs more.

Where TradeZella is better

Backtesting without the top plan

TradeZella lets you backtest by hand, bar by bar on more than 11 years of data, on every plan. Pro and Ultra add AI backtests in plain English.

On TraderSync, reviewers place automated backtesting and the Market Replay Simulator (with Level II and time and sales) on Elite, which is the $79.95 plan.

A published annual discount

TradeZella's annual billing saves 25%. That works out to $26, $44 or $74 a month, or $315, $531 and $891 a year, so you know the price before you start.

These prices took effect on 14 July 2026, though. Earlier subscribers keep their old price unless they change plan or billing cycle.

Community, mentoring and learning

Spaces gives trading groups private rooms, live trade sharing, challenges and leaderboards. Mentor Mode lets a coach follow along, and Zella University adds webinars and bootcamps.

We found no community or mentoring features for TraderSync, but that point comes from TradeZella's own competitor page, so treat it with care.

Prop firms and reporting depth

TradeZella includes a PropFirm Sync dashboard, MFE/MAE statistics and its "300+ reports" drill-down on every plan, along with notebooks, templates, risk tools and multiple currencies.

Which one for which trader

Where TradePiko fits for swing traders

Neither product is aimed at swing trading.

TradeZella's focus is replay, sessions, prop firms and futures. TraderSync's sub-second replay, Level II and time-of-day reports are tools for an intraday trader. A swing trader can use either one, but a lot of what you pay for on the upper plans measures things that matter less when you hold a stock for three weeks.

TradePiko is built for that kind of hold. It's a journal for stocks and ETFs held for days to weeks:

Pricing: Standard is $20 a month, or $16 a month billed annually. It comes with broker sync, the journal and CSV import, Live Position Analytics, auto-generated charts, the stats dashboard, the calendar, the mistake tracker and tags.

Pro is $40 a month, or $32 billed annually, and adds the AI Trade Coach, Trade Simulation, MFE/MAE, the Position Sizing Advisor, the Daily Report Card, Model Books, the PIKO 50 and multiple accounts. Pro has a 7-day free trial, while Standard bills right away.

And here's where it isn't the answer. TradePiko has no trade replay, no strategy backtester and no community rooms. It connects to far fewer brokers than either of the other two, and it's built for stocks and ETFs, not futures or forex. If those matter more to you than swing-specific analysis, one of the two above is the better pick.

Re-score your own trades

Trade Simulation runs on the trades you actually took. Cut every loser at a maximum loss, take a partial and hold a runner, or drop your worst trades, and compare the result with your real record.
