TradePiko is a swing trading analytics platform operated by TradePiko (Ontario, Canada). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website at tradepiko.com and our associated services.

By using TradePiko, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our services.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Account information

• Name and email address (collected at registration)
• Password (stored in hashed form via Supabase Auth — we never see your plain-text password)
• Subscription tier and billing status

Trading data

• CSV trade data you upload manually
• Trade history synced from connected broker accounts via SnapTrade
• Tags, notes, simulations, and journal entries you create within the platform
• Position Sizing Advisor settings and preferences

Your trades, positions, and journal entries are private to your account. They are never visible to other users, never displayed publicly, and never shared with or sold to any third party for marketing, research, or any other purpose.

Payment information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe provides us with only a payment token and subscription status.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the TradePiko platform
• Process your subscription payments and manage billing
• Display your trade history, analytics, and journal entries
• Sync trade data from connected broker accounts
• Send transactional emails (account creation, password reset, billing)
• Respond to support requests and inquiries
• Improve and develop new features for the platform
• Monitor for security threats and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your trading data to train AI models, sell market intelligence to third parties, or share your positions with other users. Your trade data belongs to you and is treated as strictly private.

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• SnapTrade — broker connectivity and trade data aggregation
• Vercel — application hosting and deployment

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to TradePiko.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

BROKER DATA (SNAPTRADE)

When you connect a brokerage account through TradePiko, we use SnapTrade to facilitate the connection. Here is how this works:

• Your brokerage login credentials are entered directly through SnapTrade's secure hosted interface — TradePiko never sees or stores your broker username or password
• SnapTrade obtains OAuth authorization tokens from your broker and stores them securely
• TradePiko stores a SnapTrade user ID and user secret in our database to identify your SnapTrade account — these are not your broker credentials
• Trade history and position data is fetched from SnapTrade on demand and displayed to you — we do not permanently store this raw brokerage data beyond what you explicitly save in your TradePiko journal
• You can disconnect your broker at any time from within TradePiko settings, which revokes SnapTrade's access

SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
• Database access is restricted and protected by row-level security
• API keys and secrets are stored as environment variables, never in source code
• We use Supabase's enterprise-grade infrastructure for data storage

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:

• Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after account closure
• Trade journal data and simulations are retained as long as your account is active
• Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law
• You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@tradepiko.com

YOUR RIGHTS

As a user of TradePiko, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Request that we delete your account and personal data
• Portability: Request an export of your trade journal data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-transactional email communications at any time
• Broker disconnection: Remove connected broker accounts at any time within Settings

Canadian residents have additional rights under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

COOKIES

TradePiko uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• Authentication cookies: Used to keep you logged in to your account (essential)
• Preference cookies: Used to remember your dashboard settings and preferences

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertising networks. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

TradePiko is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@tradepiko.com and we will delete it promptly.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we will also notify registered users by email.

Your continued use of TradePiko after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
