Q&A

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

Brokers, pricing, what the simulation engine does, and what happens to your data.

Getting started

Do I have to enter my trades manually?

No. TradePiko connects to your brokerage and imports your fills automatically, including the individual executions behind a scaled entry or exit. If your broker isn't supported yet, you can upload a CSV instead and the same journal, stats and charts are built from it.

Which brokers does TradePiko connect to?

40 brokerages and crypto exchanges through SnapTrade, including Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood and Webull, plus Coinbase, Binance and Kraken. See the full list.

What if my broker isn't on the list?

You can still use TradePiko by uploading a CSV export of your trade history. Everything downstream of the import is identical — the journal, the stats dashboard, the charts and the simulation engine all work the same way on CSV data as on synced data.

Which countries does TradePiko work in?

Broker connections cover the United States, Canada, the UK and Europe, Australia and India — Questrade, Wealthsimple and TD Direct Investing in Canada; AJ Bell, DEGIRO, eToro and Trading 212 in the UK and Europe; CommSec and Stake in Australia; Zerodha and Upstox in India. Crypto exchanges are global. Anywhere else, CSV import still works.

How quickly do my trades show up?

The same day you trade. TradePiko reads your broker's order feed when you open the app, so fills from today and the two days before it land in the journal straight away — without waiting for the broker's settled transaction record, which arrives a day or two later. When the settled version does arrive it replaces the provisional entry on its own, and any notes, tags, screenshots and simulations attached to that trade move across with it.

Can I track more than one brokerage account?

Yes. Each account you add keeps its own journal, statistics, tags, mistakes, simulations and column layout, so a taxable account and a retirement account never pool into one distorted set of numbers.

Plans and billing

What is the difference between Standard and Pro?

Standard ($20/month) covers broker auto-sync, the trade journal and CSV import, live position analytics, auto-generated entry and exit charts, the full stats dashboard, calendar journal, mistake tracker and trade tags. Pro ($40/month) adds the AI Trade Coach, the trade simulation engine, MFE/MAE analysis, the Position Sizing Advisor, the Daily Report Card, Model Books and the PIKO 50 watchlist. Paying annually saves 20%. See pricing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — a 7-day free trial for new users, which requires a payment method at signup. Cancel before the trial ends and your card is never charged. There is no permanently free plan; dashboard access requires an active trial or subscription.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, so you keep access until then. Cancelling during the trial ends access when the trial expires and your payment method is not charged.

What happens to my trades if I cancel?

Account data, trade journal entries and simulations are retained for 90 days after account closure, so everything is still there if you resubscribe within that window. Payment records are kept for 7 years, as Canadian tax law requires. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@tradepiko.com — the privacy policy has the detail.

What the tools actually do

What does trade simulation actually do?

It re-runs the trades you really took under different rules. Change what an exit returned, or re-size the position in dollars or as a percentage of the account, and every downstream stat recalculates — total P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy and risk-to-reward — with the simulated equity curve plotted against what actually happened. Scenarios can be saved and compared side by side.

What does the AI Trade Coach do?

It reads your own trade history rather than the market. It looks for time-of-day patterns, correlations between setups, and how you perform in different market conditions; it flags costly habits like moving stops, revenge trading and overtrading; and it answers questions you type — "what is my worst setup?" — using your numbers. Any date range can be analysed on its own.

What is the PIKO 50?

A watchlist of 50 momentum names, ranked automatically on a fixed set of measurable inputs: relative strength, market theme, institutional sponsorship and earnings acceleration. Inclusion or rank is not a recommendation, and no part of it considers your circumstances. Each name carries its sector theme, average dollar volume, ADR% and next earnings date, and opens straight into a full chart.

What are MFE and MAE?

Maximum favourable excursion is how far a trade moved in your favour before you closed it; maximum adverse excursion is how far it moved against you first. Together they show whether you are exiting too early, holding losers too long, or placing stops where normal noise takes you out. TradePiko calculates both for every trade automatically.

How is this different from a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet records what happened. TradePiko imports the trades for you, pulls a real price chart for every entry and exit, calculates MFE/MAE and expectancy without formulas, and — the part a spreadsheet genuinely cannot do — re-runs your whole history under a different exit rule or position size so you can see what a change would have been worth before risking money on it.

Data, privacy and limits

Can TradePiko place trades on my account?

No. TradePiko reads your trade history and open positions in order to journal and analyse them. There is no order entry anywhere in the product — it cannot buy or sell on your behalf.

Does TradePiko give trading advice?

No. It is an analytics and journaling tool, not a financial adviser, and it does not provide investment recommendations or brokerage services. Everything it shows is a measurement of trades you already made. Every trading decision remains yours.

Can I share a trade without showing my account size?

Yes. Any trade can be turned into a share card showing the ticker, direction, return and hold time as percentages only — no dollar balance, no position size, nothing that reveals what the account is worth.

What happens to my trading data?

Your trades, positions and journal entries are private to your account. They are never shown to other users, never displayed publicly, and never sold or shared with third parties. Payments run through Stripe, so card numbers never reach TradePiko. Read the privacy policy.

Who is TradePiko built for?

Swing traders holding positions for days to weeks, trading stocks and ETFs. The whole product is shaped around that: hold times measured in days, daily charts around every entry and exit, and a watchlist of momentum leaders rather than an intraday scalping tape.
